Kamusta, my name is Jordi and I am 12 years old. This is my last year in Saint Patrick’s School. I am a year 8 student and my teacher is Mrs. Dines. I was born on March 27 2002, in Bacolod City in the Philippines. On 2010 my family and I moved to New Zealand. I go to Room 8 at Saint Patrick’s School. Once upon a time, in a little road there lived a little boy called Robert that lived in a big house with his rich parents. Robert is a very sensitive, smart little boy that loves to learn new things everyday from his wise, helpful father Jack. He and his father spend most of their time laughing at Robert’s funny and crazy mum.

Later that morning, after breakfast Robert asked Jack if he could buy the new ‘‘SLAM!!!’’ shoes in the mall. ‘‘Dad,can I buy the SLAM shoes from the mall and go there by myself?’’ Robert asked. Jack growled like a father bear at Robert because he does not want him to buy the new shoes because it will waste their money. ‘‘Robert, Robert would you like me to help you earn that money?’’ Jill whispered to Robert’s ear. ‘‘It costs $5.00 Mum!’’ Robert said During this time Jack changed his mind.

‘‘Thanks Dad!!!’’ Robert yelled by the door as Jill and himself headed to the mall to buy the new ‘‘SLAM!!!’’ shoes at the mall. Few minutes later, they arrived at the mall and Robert ran as fast as a cheetah to the shop and finally bought what he has been dreaming about for the past few nights.

‘‘Now let’s go buy something for Dad, Mum!!!’’ Robert decided because Jack did something really nice for him so he and Jill decided to buy him a present as well. Once they arrived in the store, Robert got a new watch for Jack to wear on special occasions.

Later that evening, Robert saw Jack sleeping in the living room so he placed the watch beside him so when he wakes up he will get a special gift.
